Overview
The AS11870G-04 Communications & Fieldbus Coupler Module provides a compact, customizable, and cost effective solution for standalone manual control, data logging, or distributed I/O. This MKS CM can be implemented as a standalone unit supporting manual, remote control capabilities with the MKS Controls Workbench application, with built in data logging and process monitoring, or it can be implemented over an EtherCAT fieldbus to support distributed I/O applications, where the MKS CM is integrated with a PLC/PAC. MKS CM can directly interface to all MKS Automation Platform I/O slices via the MKS System Bus or EtherCAT, creating a scalable distributed I/O system. The MKS Controls Workbench (CWB) software application can be used with the MKS CM Communications & Fieldbus Coupler Module. CWB provides a simple, integrated solution for device configuration, process monitoring, data storage, system diagnostics, and autotuning.
